Is there more to life than merely living?

Vida Plena Honduras accompanies the children and youth of the Los Pinos neighborhood in the city of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. This is a marginalized community that is plagued by the specter of gang violence, abject poverty, and a lack of access to quality education and health resources.

We seek to nurture the Mind, Body, and Spirit of the Los Pinos youth by providing educational, nutritional, physical and mental health support as well as creating safe and welcoming spaces where children can thrive through the exploration of their gifts and talents.

With an emphasis on Peace, Justice, and Reconciliation we aim to holistically transform the individual and create leaders that effect positive change within their families, schools, communities, and the Honduran society at large.

Our Vision is to walk alongside the future of Honduras guiding these young spirits on the Path from mere life towards a Life of Plenty.
